NDNA Responds to Evaluation of Flexible Free Entitlement Pilots and Says Funding Still a Key Concern
27 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today responded to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) report ‘Extended Flexible Entitlement for Three-and Four Year Olds: Pathfinder Evaluation.’ Whilst welcoming the recognition in the report of the positive benefits an increased flexible offer gives for children and families, NDNA says it is ‘unsurprised’ that funding was highlighted as a key concern from providers.

2 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today responded to the Children’s Society ‘Good Childhood Enquiry,’ highlighting that the factors involved in ensuring children have a good childhood are complex. NDNA also said it was important not to use elements of this wide-spread research selectively and needlessly worry parents.
