27 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today responded to the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) report ‘Extended Flexible Entitlement for Three-and Four Year Olds: Pathfinder Evaluation.’ Whilst welcoming the recognition in the report of the positive benefits an increased flexible offer gives for children and families, NDNA says it is ‘unsurprised’ that funding was highlighted as a key concern from providers.

17 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today announced that it has launched a brand new publication ‘your essential guide to inclusive practice’ which is designed to help nurseries ensure they offer an inclusive environment.

11 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today announced that it has been accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) to deliver the Level 5 Award in Management.

2 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today responded to the Children’s Society ‘Good Childhood Enquiry,’ highlighting that the factors involved in ensuring children have a good childhood are complex. NDNA also said it was important not to use elements of this wide-spread research selectively and needlessly worry parents.

2 February 2009 – National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) today announced that it is running an improved official week for its ‘healthy body, happy me’ campaign in March. NDNA also revealed that this year the campaign is being supported by celebrity chef Phil Vickery.
